A new chapter and an old friend, say hello to Herbie Mensah. With autumn in full swing and a season of celebrations just around the corner, who better to tell our tailoring story than the sartorial star himself? Captured on a crisp day in Marylebone, Tales of Tailoring embodies warm colours and rich textures, the joy and generosity of friendship, and the adventurous spirit of Herbie himself.

A self-described "Gentleman of a Certain Age" and longtime friend of SIRPLUS, Herbie's vintage and reworked clothing stall is just a stone's throw away from our Portobello shop. Aligned in ethos and in taste, you might recognise Herbie from our Making Old Friends series or from our Journal, where we celebrated Father's Day with him and his son Saul. 

From walking for Westwood to wandering through West London, with Herbie there's a story in every stitch, and we're always delighted to share it.
