A Day Away, for a Life Well Lived.
July 6, 2025
After spring made its mark and we raced towards a long London summer, the promise of holiday leisure was still elusive. For High Summer, we wanted to return to the meaningful and the conscious, to slow down. So, we have embraced the present and the suspension of time that accompanies the longest days. At the height of summer, we took A Day Away — a sole day the symbol for a life well lived.
Shot in East Sussex (a scenic train journey away from our usual London haunts), A Day Away captures the simple pleasures of a single day. Waiting for a train on a shaded-yet-warm platform, striped tee loosely tucked into casual linens. A precarious pile of ripe fruit, ready to stain a faithful cotton Oxford. A herringbone suit, relaxed enough to let you run to a soon-shutting ice cream parlour. An imprint of toes in warm sand, not quite washed away by the tide, soundtracked by gulls overhead and the gentle rustle of swim shorts as you run into a cool sea.
Captured on film, continuing our exploration of instant and enduring impressions, A Day Away is a campaign not only for clothes, but for a way of life. For a life well lived — one that is slow, considered, and celebrated for years to come.
