Corduroy has been in circulation in the modern world since the 18th century and has often been used as a more comfortable, heavier alternative to jackets, trousers (and now suiting) than its more well-known counterparts. Made from 100% cotton, its soft wales (the ribbed effect it has) make it a durable and warm option for autumn and beyond. One of the things that we love the most is this suit’s versatility: it’s something that can be worn again and again in a variety of different ways. From a two-piece to a separate jacket and trousers, it’s the perfect seasonal staple for work, weekends and all the occasions in between.
A New Season Staple
Our dark green SIRPLUS cord suit is a new staple for this season and is crafted from 100% cotton that’s spun in our favourite Italian mill. Cut for an ever-so-slightly oversized fit with an unstructured silhouette, it blends our equal love for the aesthetics of Italian tailoring and French utility workwear. We love pairing it with modern alternatives to the standard shirt, like a thick roll neck or chunky knit.

If you’re after something a little more neutral, our traditional tan or navy versions are just the ticket.
