The Stone Twill Chore Jacket

This season at SIRPLUS, we have taken a new angle with a range of different concepts for our new collection. We have indulged in some bold print choices and followed the colour trends surrounding nature - focusing on earthy, botanical and neutral tones. We enter this new season with a fresh perspective on classic, long-lasting pieces for your wardrobe.

Our brand is not driven by trends, but we do research and analyse them during the design process to ensure we are offering our customers the best possible collection. Much of our design inspiration comes from the market scene. Having originally sold products at the Portobello and Marylebone markets, (areas in which we now have stores), we look closely at interesting, vintage pieces we discover and use this alongside trend and innovation to create our authentic SIRPLUS garments. We also adapt existing bestselling items to offer a fresh new take on our original, classic designs. We are constantly trying to improve our collection's sustainability. Over 12 products in the first release of the Spring Summer collection contain sustainable qualities and many of our classic pieces have been adapted to a more sustainable status.

One of the new standout pieces from the Spring Summer collection is the Stone Twill Chore Jacket. The light, stone colour-way offers a contemporary, natural look in a sturdy yet lightweight BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) cotton twill fabric, perfect for the warmer season. The jacket features twin stitching detail, three internal pockets and three external pockets for extra practicality. The smart brown buttons used are sustainable Corozo nut buttons from a British supplier. Made from the Tagua Palm tree nuts in Ecuador, the manufacturing of these buttons maintains the demand for the trees to remain in the rainforests which in turn helps combat deforestation. This bold yet neutral product is part of our new unisex collection, along with a range of other pieces.

This season we’re looking forward to launching our first Unisex collection. The industry is constantly changing, boundaries are blurring and many brands no longer market their clothing to one gender. For us, it’s not a big change as women often buy and wear our products. With this new launch, we wanted to confirm that a range of the SIRPLUS products are undefined by gender. An unstructured silhouette mean they work for everyone. The women behind the SIRPLUS brand will be found wearing a smaller size in our Nehru jackets, knitwear, T-shirts or Shirts.

You can now find The Stone Twill Chore Jacket in stores and online with the first drop of products for our Spring Summer collection. Stay tuned for new releases.
