NO TROUSERS ON THE TUBE
The "No Pants on the Subway Day", or "No Trousers on the Tube Day" (if you live this side of the Atlantic), is described by its founders as an "international day of sillyness".
The event began as a prank by seven men and is now in its 12 year. There are thousands of participants in as many as 50 cities.
Quite simply, groups of very normally dressed people disperse across several carriages of the underground all going about their business in normal fashion. The only unusual observation is that none of them are wearing trousers.
This year we were delighted to be represented by Johan of Sharp and Dapper. Doesn't he look ravishing?
Next we are encouraging a no jackets on the tube day. Everyone must wear waistcoats.
